But she secretly worked with Hector to bring down her father who is now in prison but now she is being targeted by four brothers who took over her father’s territory. She has hardly any friends and is spurned because of her father. By keeping her emotions and her true self protected beneath the Ice that she portrays on the surface and only a few people have seen the real Sadie. Sadie Townsend is the daughter of a crime lord, but is more innocent than anyone else realizes but she has had to protect herself by being a Ice Queen. Hector is a bit of a wild man, and very unpredictable and not someone that everyone trusts but he has his own secrets. Hector is a character that I have seen and have wanted his story so badly, ever since we are first introduced to him at the beginning of the series. And after wishing for Hector’s book, we finally get it. Rock Chick Regret is book number seven in the Rock Chick series and boy I am loving each and every book I have read so far, there is something so different about these books even from her other books that I have loved. Guided by Hector, the Rock Chicks, the Hot Bunch and her new gay roommates, Buddy and Ralphie, Sadie negotiates a life out from under her father’s thumb, a life that includes poison, arson and learning how to make s’mores.

Tragedy strikes and Sadie’s got a choice, she can retreat behind her Ice Fortress or she can embrace the Rock Chick/Hot Bunch World. Hector makes one (huge) mistake he waits for Sadie to come to him.

But one inebriated night, she shows the Real Sadie to the undercover agent she knows is investigating her father, the handsome Hector Chavez, and he knows he’ll stop at nothing to have her. Her father, a now-incarcerated Drug Lord, has kept her under his thumb her whole life and she’s learned enough from living in his world to give everyone the cold shoulder. Sadie Townsend is known by all as The Ice Princess and she’s worked hard to earn her reputation. Genres: Contemporary Romance, Dark Romance, Romantic Suspense
